Can you imagine the hissy-fit this bus would cause now-a-days?

Your picture of the Red, chopped and channeled 32 Ford coupe is great. That car was at Sanderson Ford Deuce Day last Saturday in the Phoenix area. The man holding the young child built the car, the child being held is the builders son who now owns the car. The cat still has the paint on that was applied by the builder. It also still has the flathead engine and Ford-o-matic transmission it had back then. The front suspension is a twin I Beam suspension system built by the builder using Model A axles.
It is a neat car and according to the builders son it will be kept as it is.

She’s wondering if this was going to buff out. Or she didn’t know that Fords had a chain like that under them.

  16. "Snoqualmie Pass, WA - Set in the shadow of Mt. Snoqualmie and Guye Peak, the Summit Inn has become a familiar landmark to millions of travelers throughout the years. The Pass is crossed by U. S. Highway 10 which has been improved and 4-laned and is opened the year 'round."

Rode in my Uncle's brand new '57 Dodge on a family vacation to visit relatives in South Dakota. Mom, Dad, Aunt Betty, Uncle Jay, my sister and myself. All 6 of us in a non A/C car. I remember going through Yellowstone, slowing down for bears in the road and hearing tires screeching behind us. I looked out the back window just in time to see a '56 Nomad sliding sideways toward us. He stopped in time and we continued on our merry way.

This dealership in your pic was a little off my beaten path, but I used to walk by Bill Corwin Ford on my way to/from school every day. IIRC, it was Main and Almond.

Victoria B.C. Canada. Jubilee Hospital Maternity wing. I sold the Star Weekly in front of this building in the 50's. One time a man gave me 5 bucks for a 10 cent copy and said keep the change! 5 bucks!! Guess he was a new proud dad. Jubilee hosp.
