    Two very different styles! High-living
power hitter Ruth with focused finesse
player Cobb, 1920. Of Cobb, Ruth said,
"Cobb is a prick. But he sure can hit.
God Almighty, that man can hit."

Deacon Motor Sales, Carnegie, PA, with an array of '55 Hudson
"Hashes." This is thanks to Sarah Young who maintains a site
    on Hudson dealerships and memorabilia.

The mere utterance of the words "Hudson Jet" must have
had hotrodders in Culmerville, PA, quaking in their motorcycle
boots! LOL. Here Hudson dealer John C. Benke poses with
Police Chief Albert Sabatini. This is thanks to Sarah Young who
maintains a site on Hudson dealerships and memorabilia.

LowKat, this looks like Jack Turner's accident on the front straightaway at Indy in 1961. I was sitting in the Tower Terrace, and it started right in front of me. IIRC, Turner in the No. 45 bounced off the outside wall and the car came to rest in the middle of the straight. He was still a little dazed when he climbed out of the car and walked to the inside wall. A car swerved to miss him, got out of control, and it turned into a multi-car wreck.
