  14. All their different sedans were ugly. You got that right . Vans utes & wagons were sort of cool.

^^ Like most British cars of the era they lacked the wheelbase to carry off the American styling.

Try a higher resolution scan and convert it to grayscale; if you scan a black and white ad in the color setting, sometimes you get this problem. Try increasing contrast a little as well.
I do this for all the old B&W yearbook photos I post; prevents the greenish tint and corrects the washed-out appearance they often have.

Looks like the cabins at Frank's Lodge when I fished Star Lake in Minnesota.

  24. Don't get me wrong, I'm absolutely not saying things like "the 50s/60s/70/s were better. I meant It would be awesome if I could walk around LA, or any other city, in the 50s/60s/70s to see all those cars on the road. That's also the reason why Im here on this forum every day, to see all these amazing pictures of classic American cars. I'm a big fan of the American car culture from the late 40s till early 70s, which was way more interesting than the cars here in my country, the Netherlands. I'm lucky if I see here 1 or 2 classic American cars every month.

And sorry for my bad English.

Sorry I misinterpreted, I thought it was about our air quality. Don't feel bad, even here in Southern California it's rare to see an older car except on the weekends...
