    Tony Santucci at Dover

    That would be Dominic "D.A." Santucci, and I highly suspect that photo was taken at Quaker City, which was his home track back in the early 60's. You have to know the track to picture that he is being pushed uphill to the starting line.

    This dealer became Downey Ford in its later life. It sat across from another historically significant dealership Sachs & Sons Lincoln Mercury on Lakewood Bl.
    Both of the icons are no more as the were demo'd over the past year.
    It was a "Fantastic"example of mid-century architecture.

    More presidential stuff about Bay City MI: The same man who designed Central Park in New York, also was commissioned as the Landscape Architect for the White house, back in the 1870s. His works are noted in American history as the most notable ever to have been conceived. And guess what - Bay City has a park designed by him. It is today called "Carroll Park".

    6 degrees of separation and all that jazz...
