  6. The car is an Oakland - somewhere around 1916-17.

  7. This one has been identified. The location is Canterbury Court in Christchurch, New Zealand, the date 1973. The show, Autorama '73. The car is a customised Humber 80 (a local version of the Hillman Minx which was produced to give the Humber dealers something to sell). The car was named Poison Ivy and apparently still exists. There are pictures of this event available but are out of the time frame for this thread. The Canterbury Court building is still there but since the 2010/2011 earthquakes has been used for commercial purposes. Google it at 22 Twigger Street Christchurch.

Another one from Autorama '73. The car was known as Novel T and still exists. Ford 272 power.

How often do you run across finned, cast aluminum rocker covers for Mopar Poly V8s? Wow!

The Netherlands are known for wet weather, but we have snow too.

Most Corvairs in Holland in the sixties came from GM Antwerp, assembled from KKD shipped from the US.
(no, mine came from Denver Colorado in the nineties)

Norm Longfield's T out of Sydney, Australia. The photo is probably from the early 70's. The car is still in Norm's collection although it now has small block Chevy power.

A Roy Baggs shot of one of Bobby Langley's Scorpions at Pomona--mid 60's judging by the Mopar to the right of the shot.

Not to sound argumentative, but are you sure about that? Dizz Wilson's car is in the background and I don't remember him running any of his own cars in USAC or AAA. Perhaps an IMCA show somewhere?

Jim McElreath was in Wilson's car that day at Langhorne which is the day Bobby Marvin was killed.
