I don't think I've ever seen red with a black insert on a '57 Corvette before. I kind of like that.

    Hello,
I thought this looked familiar, it is in front of the famous, Malibu Pier in Malibu, CA. It is right next to the popular surf spot, Surfrider Beach at Malibu Point. No one in So Cal surf circles can ever forget Malibu Beach. When the big hurricane swells from Mexico come barreling up the coast in the summer, Malibu is at its finest.
But, in the summer, it is very crowded most of the normal daylight times.

Around the curve up ahead is Topanga Canyon and leads to the city of Santa Monica. This is one of the most beautiful sections of the LA County coast line.

This is So Cal hot rod cruising at its finest along the coast. The blue waves just off the highway, the scenery, the curvy road with its many dangers, etc. From a 40 Ford Sedan Delivery to open roadsters, cruising the coast is here for the taking. It was one of our favorites back in the early 60's. The one way trip was almost a 2 hour drive from our house in Long Beach, but it was well worth it.
