  1. The ladies then had a very plain and natural beauty. Very nice!

  2. This could be me in an earlier life......standing in the middle of the shop wondering where I laid that 9/16 wrench?

Car on the left is a pre '24 Overland.....

    Could be worse.

So, the boss asked Louie why he threw his breaker bar down to the ground, Louie replied
"I dropped my 5/8" socket, did you think I was gonna come down just for that".

    Vintage 2002 photo.

I remember those Atlas tires wrapped with paper. You would raise them above your head then slam them onto the shop floor and the paper would split open.

  9. That is what a Fuel Altered driver should look like!

Sorry Olio, I have to disagree. It ain't Chicago!

Here's a shot from one block North, from early 60's. Don't know how or why it's on a Chicago site. That's the iconic vertical lift Alsop (aka Main Street) Bridge. Born there in '46, lived there until 70's. Family still lives there.

That is my dad and his partner who built that car. It ran AA Altered in Edmonton, Calgary, and Spokane. They ran a 392 Hemi and were the first in Western Canada to run a blower in their class. The car doesn't have the blower in that photo. Add was in his late teens when he and Tony built this car.
