    Didn't Jay Woodside end up in this car a couple of years later? BTW, the Butler family is still involved in sprint car racing today in Texas.

    He did, along with Cotton Farmer and quite a few other top shoes out of the central states. It was a sought after ride.

  29. a little late, but also from me thanks to all contributors of this wonderful thread! i started to read when it had 300 or so pages and did not miss one of the 5000. pure entertainment! i hope that DOG427435 is still okay, he was online Apr 2017 the last time. hope he knows what wonderful place he has started.

    I tend to agree.

    Looks like Pappy Carter in the 2.

    Love the Suburbanite on the RR in the shot of Woodside - RIP, Jay - not as good as a knob but would loosen up a fair amount of race track.
