Keef - thanks for all the great pics.
Florida plates, interesting that both officers have their service revolvers holstered in ''cross draw'' style. Not often seen today.

Back in my early career we had to carry like that with revolvers. The reason given was to keep the firearm on the far side of the arrestee because they were transported in the front seat.

In the first attached photo it looks like it could be Johnny Parsons, Jr. although I'm not sure. Any info on this one?

And who is the driver ready to get pushed off in the midget, Rootie? It almost looks like an indoor show but again I'm not sure.

    Thanks for posting!

I would say that the first photo is JP.

I don't think the second shot is indoors, no diaper on the car.

My info says the 99 car is Carl Williams 1968 hard to say for sure though. I believe that's Bobby Unser in the yellow midget probably on the west coast late season mid 60s, possibly San Jose.

It is hard to tell. But it looks like the nose of Mario Andretti's STP#2 behind the #99. Andretti had the STP paint job in 1969. He also drove a #2 dirt car in 1968 but that was a white/blue trim Overseas National Airways sponsored car. I'm still not sure of the #99 driver but I do think the photo was taken in 1969.

It's still a great shot. Thanks for posting.
