Lovely picture of a rare car. Normally with scuttle mounted lamps this one has them factory fitted next to the radiator, they were moved back to the scuttle as the position was thought to be illegal. They were put back to the front in 1928.

Has there EVER been a design warmed over or gussied up
as long -- or AS WELL? Loewy's '53 kept getting facelifts
for 12 straight years, ending only after Steven's '64 Euro-
take Hawk Gran Tourismo. Some of the iterations are
Stude -- and American -- classics, in my eyes anyway. Besides
the low-slung original, kudos should go to the '55 President
    Speedster, '56 Packard-powered Golden Hawk, '57 Stude
Golden Hawk and Steven's elegant final GT series.

Other than the Model T, Checker Marathon of '56-'82 and the
Vee-Wee Bug, can anything top this for successful longevity?
(Jeep morphed a lot, so I didn't include mention of it.)
