Definitely the Tuskegee Airmen! Here's the lowdown.

Quote: March 1945. Ramitelli, Italy. 332nd Army Air Forces Fighter Group. "Tuskegee airman Edward C. Gleed of Lawrence, Kansas, Class 42-K, with two crewmen adjusting an external 75 gallon drop tank on the wing of the P-51D Creamer's Dream."

Back in the old days we would sit on several rolls of film for years sometime.
It was a pain to take them to the drug store then have to go back to pick them up. I'd bet there are some people that still have undeveloped film!

Yes, the Grapes of Wrath truck is a Hudson. In the novel, if my memory is correct, Steinbeck describes the vehicle as a Hudson Super Six sedan that had been converted to a truck.

I always loved the sound of that big 6 cylinder engine as the Joads pulled into the various roadside camps that were portrayed in the movie.

Probably a re-print from your negative. Some developers added those dates on the border of the print.

I tasted it once and my best guess would be 33 parts monkey urine to 1 part kerosene

    "Verrrrrrry interesting!"

THANKS to MuppetWiki, Arte Johnson reprising
his "Laugh In" comedy role as the analytical kraut
soldier who always observed things from behind
a bush and ALWAYS concluded: "Verrrrrrry
    interesting!"
