My Grandma Donna with her beloved Buick

 

My Dad's WWI army surplus Model T ambulance. He drove it from Chicago to Michigan City, IN (50 miles) on July 4, 1937 with NO plates. With the flag (48 star!) attached, everyone thought he was headed for a parade and waved him on.

 

These are the cars of my youth:
Left: 1948 Dodge "doodle bug" I built in 1962
Middle: 1951 Plymouth I bought for $25
Right: Dad's 1950 F-1 that I learned to drive in
