What is probably going on is the photo is too large. It happened to me and I discovered it when I did a preview of the post and no photo showed up.
Try a "preview" before you actually post and tell us what happened.
Don't think I'm computer literate--I just keep clicking until I get what I want.

    what I have done,
If I take the photo and save it on my pc,
update it using irfanview and change size to 1024 x 768.
If I have downloaded from a site,
all I have ever done is save it to my pc and or zip drive
    then upload to the hamb

NovaDude--What he is probably doing is downloading to a file sharing site and that photo is too large to be accepted by the HAMB. That's my guess.
If he saved it directly to his PC--and then attached it to his post-- I think it would work.

Not quite what you think of when you hear the term "Hitting the hay".

And I think this is N. 25th St Richmond, Va. I'd get current pictures but it's a bad part of town!

I believe--but am not sure--the Smiley's Motors above is Buffalo, New York.
Looks like the place I went to as a kid.

Smiley's is also in Richmond. The sign was still there in 1998. Southside. Hull St about the 3400 block.

  15. Two door on one side, four door on the other. You used to see those kind of styling/design cars if went to the new car show at McCormick Place in Chicago years ago.

    Frank Gardner's Corvair -

The "Where is it now" bit -

"The Corvair was placed on the market with the suggestion to potential buyers that the car would make an interesting addition to the sports car category, in which it could maybe potentially compete. But predictably the car was not sold. All the useful hardware was removed from the car and the shell was dumped at a local council rubbish dump!"
