Hmmm?? Sticking knives in the wringer washer,
ok....but in the Fuller Brush man??? That's just
going way, way too far, in my opinion!!!:eek::D

But for the rest of your "dream," - except for the
'bread truck' ever coming back and 'dad having
a new (or even any) car(!)' - and the fact that the
7-cent Coke might cost 7-dollars, the way the
economy's going, the rest of your nightmare - er,
I'm mean "dream", just might be coming true
again for a lot of people!:eek::eek:

Had a guy send me the email and picture below, thought you guys would enjoy this one. PS this car was electric powered and 1/4 scale

    Hello,

I stumbled across your website and was amazed to find out that there are people that collect these little cars. For Christmas 1960, I received a 1960 T-Bird Jr. I have enclosed a picture of me sitting in the car next to an expired parking meter. If you’d like, you have my permission to post the picture on your site.

Sadly, I no longer own the car because when I got a little older, it was traded for a go-kart. The go-kart wasn’t as shiny but it went a lot faster! Sure wish I still had that little car today!

i dont want to go back either BUT if a lot of the kids today had a small taste of what it was like maybe it would change their attitude and their out look on life. no running water, an out house and sears-roebuck catalog for toilet tissue. i could add a lot more but kids today laugh when they are told that.

These kids just need to live at my house, the power goes out a lot and then I have no heat, running water, lights or technology... loads of fun!

Plus this winter the roof almost came down, it leaked badly and ruined almost everything I own, and both my furnaces died when it was -50... and that made the plumbing and septic freeze... and then I went to town to get furnace parts and the brakes failed on my truck... I'll take some apathy and video games over this any day! :D

At least it seems like spring is coming, the snow started melting the other day! YAY!
