Okey-dokey, Moe! THAT was a good stumper:confused:, the younger
Bridget, BEFORE they started over-doing her make-up -- which she
    didn't need on even a BAD day!

I'll post some material on Tuesday Weld, an original, a natural,
unique beauty and a hard-working free-spirited and tough lady
whom we haven't covered before on this thread. She was (and is)
special -- and so tough, even Elvis couldn't control her.

Tougher than she looked, Tuesday Weld began
supporting her family as soon as she was old
enough to land modeling and acting work. Her
father had died when she was four. Here, for 7Up
in 1957, Tuesday would have been 13 going on
    14. Photo THANKS to vovodley91.

At 12, I remember feeling sympathy for Tuesday
Weld who, though not yet quite 20, was already in
her ninth year in movies! The cover tag said, "A
Star Learns to Be as Young as She Really Is,"
and she told the interviewer that she was trying to
do some of the light-hearted things such as she felt
she'd missed in her busy "youth." That year, she
was on the big screen with Steve McQueen, 33,
in the critically well-received "Soldier in the Rain.";)

Perspective shot THANKS to the DuchessofCorbin. Though Born Susan Ker Weld
on Aug. 27, 1943, she went by her nickname, Tuesday, an extension of the nickname
given her as a toddler, Tu-Tu. Those who hit it off with her characterized her as an
edgy free-thinker, but with intelligence and substance, comparing her to Ann-Margret
    and Ursula Andress.
