1929 Arrow K-54. I am the third owner. It was in several scenes in the movie "Madison" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gd67US7X2f0 Originally owned by the McCormick family, about whom the Movie featured. The deck design was patented in 1929. Another boat of the same design K-50 can be seen in this classic newsreel. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZJH24Y3_Y9c
Just finished watching Madison. Some great footage from the 1971 Gold Cup series. If you are into boats, I recommend it.
Unfortunately no, I came across the photo, but haven't been able to find any info, which I certainly wanted as well. Here's another beauty.
Here are a couple of shots of my old Campbell Wood Deck. Another one of those I should have never sold type things....
I just bought this 1963 Reinell Jet Flight, pardon the modern Yamaha engine. It's been customized in Gulf Porsche livery which I kinda dig as does my wife. I'm gonna tow it behind my 1959 El Camino
For sure, but I don't know the first thing about outboard motors, I'm sure I'll learn, I'm a car guy, this is my first boat. I am at the very least going to paint the engine cover whit and blue, it sticks out like a sore thumb right now. I haven't had it in the water but the the guy I bought it from says it goes like stink.
really cool boat...needs some 59 Taillights in those openings....at least painted to look like 59 taillights. That will match the 59 perfectly.
This boat is owned by Ken Muscatel, from the Seattle WA area. I took these photos two weeks ago at the 42nd Annual Wooden Boat Show at Lake Tahoe...
A few years back I bought a 58 Bellboy Banshee. I knew I wouldn't get around to the restore so I gave it to a HAMB member in Canada. I've wanted another since.I watched this one on craigs list all summer while I put ALL my time and money into my house. I was able to pick it up sunday. Gonna match the bed on the stude to the fins on the boat! I think I'll put the trailer on bags.
I saved this from getting cut up and thrown away !!! 1957 Campbell. I have all the running gear (buick nailhead) I think. Just haven't decided what to ??? Rebuild or move it along??
bajabob, would love to see your Campbell. Where are you in so cal? You've seen the Campbell owners site right?
Flyin T, I am up in Ventura area, I have seen the Campbell site, as I have two others... lol a 24 that I just redid and my sons 20 that needs a complete redo. Holla if you want to hook up.
I will, thanks. Friend of mine loaned me 2 of his old albums, had quite a few shots of this wood Campbell along with this amazing Patterson. Havasu 1973 This is the best looking trailer I've ever seen
More of the Patterson. My friends friend bought the boat from Bob Patterson and later on, sold it back to him. It still exists.
bought this hemi intake, was told came of an old drag boat, has anybody seen this intake before in old photo. would of had diff carbs, these are new.
BatBoat, Designed by Glastron Boats, Austin, Texas My dad, Mel Whitley, was the Director of Design. Mel and Bob Hammonds designed the world famous Batboat for the TV series "Batman" right here in Austin, Texas!
----Oh my goodnes...is that #2 boat an ''Aristocraft Torpedo"????? Haven't seen one in years.....I had a 1956 model with 75hp Evinrude for many years in the 1970's...that thing was scary fast, and loved the big white steering wheel...sure does look like my old boat!!! I tried to teach water-skiing with it, and because it was only 14ft long, I was bouncing all over the place on the Rogue River, in Oregon....lots of upkeep, but cool boat!... Nice pics man!
