    That is an amazing looking powerplant, any idea what it is? Looks like a 1920s (or older) aircraft engine.

    I believe it's a Hamilton pump.
    I think the side draft carbs are the same as on the '53-4 inline 6 corvettes.

    Isn't it a 2 x 1 intake manifold, if it uses 'vette carbs?
