vintage speed, has anyone use one of these?

has anyone ever used one of these from vintage speed? Any likes or dislikes?

 

Suedesled has them on northwestspeed.com I think it is? an a few bucks cheaper but superior quality

 

from what suedesled's website www.nwspeedequipment.com shows, they only have a 4bbl to two 2bbl adapter.

Lots of other neat stuff though.

I have one on my A. I have not fired the car yet to see how it runs. Should be ready in a few weeks. I got mine from Charlie Price at Vintage Speed and on this transaction I was very pleased. I got it within a week and he drilled the top for stromberg/holley carbs for no extra charge.

Could you take a measurment from the the mounting surface on the intake to the top of your cars minus the air cleaners. I have a 57 and I'm not sure if I got the clearance to shut the hood.

I've never seen one of those for a 2bbl intake. Isn't that counterproductive? Wouldn't it be better with a 4bbl intake? Just asking...

 

Looks like 8.5" and the carbs are 94's
