I have spoken with Charlie several times over the years. He has always been a gentleman and truly helpful with any advice. His products are top notch and service has always been fast and courteous. I fhe doesn't answer the phone, he's in the shop working. Don't believe the naysayers. Good guy.

I read somewhere he was a helicopter pilot in Vietnam, something I know a little about. If that's true, he gets a lot of respect from me just for that.

I spoke to Charlie not once, but twice on the phone, which I understand is a bit like talking to Bigfoot. Caught him fairly early in the AM as he was drinking coffee. He was super patient with my stupid questions and sent me a 4 pack of 97s in less than two weeks. I haven't tried them, they might suck, but I don't think they will.

Probably 12 years ago ,I wanted a 2 carb set-up for my Model A. Talked to him on the phone, told him it had a stock 425 engine with headers. He was intrigued by the fact most others ran the earlier 394 and said" I'll set up a pair of 2G s for you on a base" A week later it was here. A few minor adjustments it ran like a top. Would do business again. Like the song implies " support the little man" before it's too late.

Charlie stands behind his products. When I ordered my linkage parts, one piece had a galled thread. He sent me a new one and the postage was more then the cost of the piece. Thank you Charlie.
