Vintage Spyder wheels

I have a set of 6 Spyder 14 x 6 rims, 4 3/4 Chev car bolt pattern. I only have 1 center cap, 4 of the rims have someones name engraved on the spokes. I think they could be worked down and polished to remove the engraving.
