Does anyone have a reliable repair person they would recommend to work on smooth bezel gauges? I need to get the length changed on some if that's possible. Of course they are mechanical for those who don't know.
Someone posted a *****in’ dash with back mounted Stewart Warners recently, he had some guy work his magic. You should go looking for that thread.
When you say "length changed," what exactly are you referring to? Do you mean a longer cup or & longer line for the temp or?
I need a longer temp line and a tach cable with one end to fit a 62 Corvette distributor drive. May need other work also. Thanks, Jim
Here's the go-to guy (HAMBer) that can make you a custom cable. He just did a post on a recent gauge thread here. He's a straight shooter, talented, quick & reasonable. I'll get back to you on the temp thing.
