I have gotten protests from friends as to releasing this information, but hoarding this info does me no good. Some may remember my posting pictures from my trip to Bakersfield last October. We found this yard just south of Salome Arizona, CLICK HERE I returned yesterday and took a few more pictures, I will post some of them tonight. I didn't get to take as many as I would have liked because the owners partner chased us off. But I did get a phone number for those interested. PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE CALLING !! These guys have very few FORD PARTS ! Do not bug them for Ford parts unless you have seen them in the pictures from the above link. I belive the name they will use is Salome Antique Auto Parts and you will want to talk to Frank or his partner Doc. 428-859-3436

It is a Berkley, supposedly powered by a BSA motorcycle engine. Aparantly you could power them with quite a few different "small" engines.

34Fordtk, did you notice it has suicide doors? I think that one was something wierd like a Stude or Whippet.
Rat_Rodder, If I remember correctly that was a Buick four door sedan cut down. If you look closely at the back panel you can see a huge frankenstien weld.
lookie at that spring setup on the pic that 34fordtruck posted...paralells connected to a tranverse leaf??
I just uploaded the pictures I took yesterday. The chassis in question does indeed have a transverse leaf connected to parallel leafs. There is annother frame laying on the ground that this monster is on top of. If you do some reasearch on early cars and thier suspensions from the teens and twenties you will see some amazing setups.
