Picked up a "Burke -Docken" hand held sheet metal shear at a salvage yard.
Data plate reads"W.P.B. Industrial Products Inc.,Skokie Illinois"
"Model 002e",(on the drill motor),and "model 002" on the shear head attachment.
I googled all this info and came up with some lawsuit info with the "chamber of commerce and the Thor tool company".

The shear head on it looks as if it could be serviced with "Kett" tools parts of an identical looking shear head.
Might anyone be familiar with this item?
Would like to refurbish it and put it to use,by replacing the shear head wear parts ,and track down some replacement brushes for the motor.

    Any info greatly appreciated.
    Thanks

Ryan has gotten us an ENTIRE BOARD of experts just to answer this question!!

Go to the Jalopy Journal click up top, then at the side click on Garage Journal and go to their tool board. There will be some nut on there who has a 500 page history supported by archival documents on that tool.
