Event Coverage Vintage Weekend 3

Mother nature did not co-operate for this show,storms all day saturday and windy with gust's up to 40 mph sunday.Nonetheless,I take my hat off to those that were there and look forward to better weather next year.Here are a few pics from sunday with the link to the photo album.

Looks like a great pre-49 event!

 

I made the 70 mile trip to Decatur Friday afternoon, a nice sunny day and had a good time looking at cars and visiting. Shame about the rain on Saturday and Sunday.

This was the 3rd year for the event. The first 2 years were at the Rantoul Air Force Base. This year they moved to Decatur.....to Progress City which is the former site of the Hunnert Car Pile-Up. I think it was a nice move. I've been to all 3 shows and will undoubtedly attend again next year.
