I just bought a slightly O/T Cadillac. The dash has no cracks but it seems pretty dry. I need advice on the best way to treat it. I have heard stories of Armor-All actually causing an old dash to crack. What do y'all know?

Years ago an uphostery guy told me ArmorAll was the worst thing to use on vinyl, the best? WD-40! It will actually soften hardened vinyl. I have also used Meguiars Professional 40 with excellent results, the best deal on this is buy a gallon at NAPA for under $40. This product actually seems to soften old vinyl as well, I apply heavy coats and let them soak in. Does a great job on rubber also.
