Hot Rods Visitid grave of my friend

    This weekend I visited the grave of my friend Willem, and what a grave ! He went much too soon at an age of 46, miss you man!

    Mean Lean, man I didn't even know Willem and I miss him too. Anyone who was thought of in that way by those he knew, is a guy I would have liked to know. God Speed son

    It is an awesome monument, very impressive. Willem was a special character. Nice guy, open minded, free spirit. A few months before he died, I bought a car from him. The car is one of a kind, in various ways. By means of the car and the previous owner.

    Tough to loose a friend. Very creative memorial there.

    I always told my brother I wanted a Deuce grill shell and insert carved out of granite. He said no problem, but he is gone now and I had to help design his stone.

    Mean Lean, sorry that you lost a great friend. As others have said, that grave is awesome, can't help but wonder what his neighbors think!

    a thousand years from now an archaeologist will find that grave and spend his entire career trying to explain it.

    I'm a mortician by profession and I've been to many cemeteries in my career. this is one of the coolest plots I have ever seen! Peace be to Willems memory!!

  23. I saw this thread earlier and just didn't want to open it but after seeing the reply's and seeing the memorial it's not as depressing as I first thought,sorry you lost a good friend.

    That took a lot of hard work to create, more work than a regular monument. It one of the nicest things I seen.
