I'm planning on being in the San Francisco area the first or second week of August. Is there anything car related going on, or any cool things to see in the city? I used to live in the SF bay area, but don't really know what there is in the city itself. Thanks.

    Mike-

Always something happening in the Summer here. Cruise nights, shows, etc.
I looked on line and these things are going on with 4 to 6 hours away from SF.

    8th Pomona Nitro Nationals
Pomona Fairplex Raceway — Pomona, CA
    August 5, 6, 7, 2005

Thanks...I forgot Hot August Nights was that weekend. If I am able to get out of the city, might hit that. I'm thinking I'll just be in SF and the immediate area though. Is there any auto museums or art galleries that deal in car related art?
