Yeah, but we're not talking about quarter windows... And we're not talking about money.... I'm talking about possibly doing the roofline/visor combo on my truck similar to the way they did it on that coupe...
Visor, A's gotta have a visor. 30 Chevy's have a nice body but the small visor ****s, picture an A without one, if it was to be Henry would have left it off.
I'll do it, and I think I have an idea of how I'm going to do it... but would still appreciate some more pics of visors being used on cars (A's or T's) or trucks with flattened rooflines.
Try mocking it up on the top of the header you have in place already. It shouldn't be that hard. You may need to flatten the ends of the visor, where it would sit on the header. Attach the visor to the front of the A pillar. The visor should have a flat area with holes in it where it attached to the front of the original A pillar. Looking at the Boyd car it looks like that's what they did, then put a top panel, maybe even plywood on the top of the header. Maybe a light padding on the top piece. I put mine together many times before I got it where I like it. Post some pictures, I'm sure everyone will give you some opinions. Red
Straight windshield Model A's look much better with a visor in my opinion. My Model A Tudor visor doesn't vibrate or make noise, probably because the car is almost dead stock and doesn't go fast enough. Keep on truckin'!
Do you have more pictures, I want to do the same with the back panels and 29 tudor doors. Thanks for your help Bill
