Love that shot of Bob Bleeds roadster and pick up together, the bw makes stuff look so hip. I really love the 41? Buick fastback, just the bomb, thanx for more sweet pix. ~sololobo~
thanks for taking the time, and sharing it with the rest of us. I had to work that day but got to catch a few cars cruising N. Lamar as I covered my routes. I appreciate getting to see the rest!
you nailed it. if you come across Ilford XP2, it is a 400 speed c-41 processed black and white film. when printed on a color scanner, it gives a slight sepia tone to the images due to the color negative. I think it would be very complimentary to your work. and i agree whole heartedly about the time it takes to get negatives and prints back, especially in todays age of instant satisfaction.
I just fell back in love with this camera, the idea was to shoot a traditional show traditionaly. I'm going to try some diffrent film and exposure time at future shows.Thank you all for the positive feedback.
Awesome Shots Bro, Wish I could have made the show...Next up is the LSRU, with my coupe and hopefully some more sweet shots!
Shear genius. I believe these ARE professional. All that means to me is that you were able to capture the beauty of these fine automobiles with grace and style. You are a professional my friend
Man, I have to agree with all here - very, very nicely done and they look every bit as professional as I've ever seen - I love the B&W venue as well ......
You did a brilliant job, do not put yourself down. These shots are soooooooooo atmospheric and suit the subject matter perfectly. Timeless. A+ !
Let me join the chorus, great photos. Thanks for taking the time to shoot and post these. These are definitely a**** the HAMB Pictures of the Year!
Wow guy's....thank you all for the encouraging words and support. This is really giving me some momentum to keep to this style and format.
JJK, Thanks for taking the time to post these great B&W's. If you're not doing anything this May it would be great if you could bring your camera and capture the mud of the Jalopy Showdown.
Right on man, I'm going to be in Amarillo next week and I'd love to see the "Mat***ude" project in person. Not really alot of doubles snaps of what I posted, I didn't get to chat with you last weekend hope your doing well. I'd love to but I don't see it in the cards, that show looks like too much fun.
Hm. That could happen. My garage is a huge mess right now as I'm attempting to move some stuff from a friend's shop. There's some big plans going on during my holiday break from college but you're welcome to stop by! PM me and we'll figure this out. iPhone - TJJ App
