I got in touch with The Gold Coast and it looks like I might get them to reserve a portion of the Parking Lot (2nd level underneath the car show) for bikes.

I could use some backup to get this organized and keep it respectful to all parties involved. Any help or suggestions is apprechiated

Please Send me a private message for more contact info.

    Thanks,

    Tex

there will be no motorcycles (regardless of year) allowed during viva las vegas! this means top level, second level, or bottom level.
i thought i have made this perfectly clear.
if anyone is questioning this and wants to discuss this matter they can call me at (909)-437-2068 or email me directly at shifters@webtv.net

Who the **** are you to be organizing ANYTHING @ the Gold Coast during Viva Las Vegas, Axle and the boys have busted thier ***es, even recruiting people like myself, Nads, and Buick 59 to help them make the CAR show @ Vegas what it is, and it's been idiots on thier WCC/OCC looking POS chops that have ****ed it all up with thier "**** It!" at***ude that have just about had this show shut down altogether, not just for the bikes! I think you need to accept the fact that this show is for CARS, not that I have anything against bikes mind you, but I just can't see your reason for stirring **** up when you don't know the reason behind bikes not being welcome this year ( they've always been welcomed, even invited ) thank the weekend hooligans and thier ******** shenanigans for the uninvite. If you feel you must put on a bike show that same weekend, at least have the respect to do it @ another property.

    Just curious...........

But does the ban mean no bikes will be shown or that no bikes are allowed on the property?

I was planning on attending and bringing the bike to do some riding, but if I have to keep it locked up in my room, maybe I should just fly out.

  6. NO bikes @ or in the show, you can ride your bike, just don't plan on it being allowed into the car show area.

He needs to do an intro before he starts raising problems. Cant just pop on here expecting to make changes and not know the facts. If he cant do it right we dont need him.

  8. Tex V2,

I've been to all the VLV shows but the first. After a long, high-mountain Colorado winter it's the thing I most look forward to in the spring. Don't **** with it ! Watched it grow from 75-80 cars to what it is now and know, how much effort Alex and the rest of the Shifters (and others) have invested in this event. Respect that effort and the fact that it's THEIR SHOW ! [IMG] They obviously have their reasons.

    Johnnie Walker.

PS; Alex, if ya need any additional help let me know....JW. [IMG]

Obviously I made a bad decision here. For what it’s worth…I apologize to anyone that has been disrespected.

I’ll just go back to the shadows and hope everything works out for the best.

    Respects,

    Tex

Axle/Skip - I have a buddy who was asking this also?? He wants to ride his bike down, but where can he park it? He is cool with it not being in the "car show" but does he have to park it at another hotel, even if he staying at the Gold Coast??

This must have to do with the wall of Banditos I saw in the bar last year. Intimidating muther****ers they were too.

I'm not sure I had anything to do with making the car show a success, although I must say I helped every time Alex asked me.

One of these days I'm gonna drive a car out there again.

I'm still sad to see the bikes go, we're still letting bikes into our little show however. I don't think we've got the same kind of bike club friction in podunk Florida.

Would it be OK if I rode my unicycle in whilst juggling live hand grenades wearing a see through raincoat?

  24. Nads, perhaps you should walk in wearing tights and pointy shoes with a midget on your shoulders banging a drum.

Hey draglinks, you're up next to smoke my enormous *******. I'll shave it special, just for you dude.

I would never debase a little person by using him as a prop for the merriment of others. I would however place bets at a dwarf tossing contest, but they've banned that practice in Florida.

When dwarf tossing is outlawed, only outlaws will toss dwarves.
