Has anyone used a volari clip to update their front suspension? I read this is fairly easy swap. I found 85 5th avenue with a decent front. It appears to be 1" wider than my kb axle.

I've installed dozens of them back in the 90's when they were real popular. Easy to install, yes, if the original frame is wide enough, pre 55 chevys & pre 53 Fords the rail wants to sit where the steering box goes, never did a KB so I don't know how wide your frame is. Motor mounts, exhaust clearance , steering hookups can be a pain because of where the box sits. Old enough now the rebuild parts are getting $$$.
IMHO I would do one anymore, I'd just use an aftermarket Mustang II type kit.
I don't think it would be too wide, there is a KB running around here with a Camaro clip and his tires clear so the Volare will clear I'd say.
