    Hey Guys,
I'm the one that got the Krispy Kreme Saturday Night Cruise Nights up and going last summer. You are right, Krispy Kreme is a great place to have the cars come. The management is very welcoming of all the classic cars and the parking lot is huge. The management has even said it is ok if the cars overflow into the other businesses spots as they all work together in that lot.
Anyone that knows their cruising history for Portland Oregon also knows that 82nd ave was a nationally known cruising spot in the late 70s to the mid 80s. So it just makes sense to have something at that location and maybe take a few casual laps on 82nd ave before and after the event. I have gotten so busy with my car club activities that I won't be able to host the Saturday nights there this coming season. If anyone want to get something going Krispy Kreme would love it. Year round activities are welcomed also. Something to think about. Keep me posted if you decide to do this as I will bring some folks in support.

My thought exactly! I dont want to wait 30 minutes for a donut.

  5. I know I'm not anywhere close, but the mgt of the donut shop might be receipient of an idea.
Somebody said garage crawl. Why not ask if a stop at a timeframe might be a good idea, then move to the next step? Dogpile their business for an hour or so, line the streets, move on.
Gotta be worth askin' because it sounds like y'all really like the biz, area. Keep them included in your "rolling car show".

I got an email from the manager at Voodoo Too today, and passed it on to the guys at Estranged Car Club. Basically the manager said they can't accomodate the Run any more, starting with January. That's okay, 'cause it's his job and nobody needs to tell him how to do it. The Voodoo Run was a successful low-key affair for over a year, and brought in some awesome generous donations of food and toys at the end.
I'm sure someone with Estranged will let us know where they'll be meeting next as soon as they have that worked out. I don't know anything yet, but I've got a feeling this is really just the beginning.

    thanks Dan,

we're working on it still and don't have a "permanent" home as of this moment, but do have a place lined up to have this coming run, which i'll post up tomorrow once we have it for sure.
