Hi all....I've been a member of this forum for a while, but just now posting my intro. I've been laying low as I an a VW owner (but not a purist!).

I bought a '70 Beetle two years ago, with the idea that I would turn it into a rod of some sort. Here is a before/during/after picture of my project:

It is still a work in process, but aren't they all?

Thanks everyone...I appreciate the welcome. As with any modified car, there are those who like it and those who don't. I respect that, but like to be different. Here's a couple of current pics:

    Welcome to the HAMB.

I built this in the early eighties.......**** load of fun.....It would pull the wheels so high I couldn't see the track in front of me......the ambulance drivers would get off the fence and get into the ambulance and start it when they saw me pulling out of the staging lanes...nearly took out the tree on a few instances.
