I've just bought a 348w motor to use in my 34 coupe and I wanna know its history. It's casting number on the back says 3755011 which is. 348 manufactured between 59-61 but I need help with the id code on the front which is Tii03H.
    Can anybody help me?

H is 4bbl carb, Turboglide transmission. If you want to know what year, you need the casting date at the back, look for a number sequence like J 26 9 the last number is the last digit of the year.

  3. lots of casting number info over on the 348-409.com site as well as build threads etc.

So far I've found that this engine was manufactured in the tonowanda assembly plant in the 11th of March and as squirrel said is a 4bbl turbo glide car. Still searching for more info..

That's all the info you will get out of the numbers you provided. If you want to know what year it was made, you need to find the casting date on the block.

except you messed up on the date, it's actually November 3rd. Month then day.
