    It’s getting colorful! The HF detail gun works amazingly well, considering it was basically free with the primer gun I bought...

    The final clean up and sanding of the overspray is done, the shop is clean, draped, floors swept and mopped. Color tomorrow!

  22. Looks like your body work is extra straight- which is not easy when hand sanding 14 acres of sheet metal. By the time you get this car all rubbed out your fingerprints will be as smooth as the paint- buts it’s going to look great!!

    On my screen it looks like a root beer color, has a lot of depth to it. You did a great job with that!

    Crap. When I pulled the mask film, it adhered to th clear on the roof and hood. So, I’ll be polishing it it for sure. A disappointment, but it’ll be better cut and buffed.
    Now I know what happens when you mask 4 day old clear...

    This was the worst. 1200 grit, quick pass with compound and will bonnet took it down. Dodged the bullet here...
