Have a friend who want to sell a 29 Roadster pickup to me, its all steel and complete except the cab witch is in fiberglass. It has the original 4-banger and gearbox and axles and it has 1935 Ford Wirewheels with ww tires. Just wonder if anyome has some pics or idees on those pickups? with or without fenders and hood also interested in 60's customstyle idees.
Sounds like all you need to do is lower it a bit and tweak the banger some, dress it up a little and drive it!
WHAT? That`s like saying its totally restored except for the blown smallblock, custom interior, and aftermarket wheels!
This RPU belongs to a friend of mine. I think it is a timeless rod. Outstanding when it was built, outstanding today, and, with a little Tender loving care, timeless long after I am gone.
Roadstar that early shot on the beach is a bitchin looking car. I really like the low look without going over the top. the front wheels sit just right. Michael
Hello Roadstar! Also like that early shot on the beach, love the look with wide whites and solids and also the white top and bedcover.
mines gonna be full fendered with an 8ba flattie, dark blue with a white firewall and top. now all i have to do is get off my ass and start construction
'28/'29 Ford Roadster pickups are timeless hot rods. They have been around in modified form almost as long as they have existed. If your going to build one take your time and get a huge pile of old magazines and books and start doing research. If you follow the build scheme of any that were built before 1970 it's almost impossible to go wrong. BTW, when you do build it be sure to post the progress on the HAMB. A lot of us here can't get enough of them. Frank Frank
Will do so Frank, think i will go with the late 50's early 60's style like ala kart but not so heavy modified i think. I really would like to have a removable carsontop on it thats for sure...
