That car was raced by Arnold Lee Dowlen cousin to Percy Dowlen who race the Hagewood Motors Thunderbolt in the 60s. There is more info on it in the Thunderbolt thread on here. A member says the car is still around but as a street legal car. He saw it at a car show several years ago.

Phil's 65 may have been the baddest but Huberts 65 was the coolest.

Falconwagon62, whose yellow '65 is that in your post? It looks like a car that used to be from GA.

The Fermier Brothers' 406-385 Ford vs. Bonner at Thunderbolt Raceway in Florida. The match was to be Sox & Martin vs Bonner but Sox broke so they handicapped the B/S against Bonner. Sox laid the rosin for the Fermier car. Sox can be seen in the striped sweater and cowboy hat behind the Fermier car.

I wish I new Falconred. I was wondering the same thing. I like the way that one looks.

I was thinking it was David Lyall's all fiberglass one. But this one looks like it has an axle under the front.

They look a lot alike but the headers are different and the front wheelwell is cut a little different and it looks like the front wheels may be a little different. I never realized there were as many Falcon FX cars around.
