  2. I like the way those look! I have seen a couple picture of late 65-66 cars with AN fittings and braided line, probably something airplane or military based. On my car I was running -6 lines for the returns and -8 for the feed, into the filter and up to the injector. Is that going to be enough fuel for that ginormous engine you got there? Now that I'm switching to methanol, the return lines stay a -6 but the feed line goes to a -10

MD1320GUY, Are you putting the vent windows back in you doors or leaving them out? I am thinking about taking mine out.

No vent windows for me. My doors are going to be steel inner with fiberglass outer skin & lexan windows. Having the door skin off makes it easier to fab & modify the regulators & window channels. Don't think I could do it if the doors were all together. By the way I followed your example over the winter & started drilling holes in everything. Check out my traction bars(pg33 #989). LOL.....Mike

I probably won't start on the doors until winter (too much going on during racing season). When I do I'll keep you in mind, document & picture everything & make 2 copies of the fab parts to help your swap.....Mike

That sounds great and the timing will be perfect, I still have some drivability issues to work out on my falcon. I need to put a bigger radiator in it which I plan to start when it gets back from summit.

  21. I was hoping whoever bought the El Condor would end up here. Previous owner had plans for it, but health breakdown ended that plan. Keep us posted on what you are doing with it.

I am so confused! Theres California Mike (Mike Thomas - fiveoh108), Vindicator Mike (Mike Weaver - ssamx) and me Maryland Mike (Mike Gose - MD1320guy). Seems like being hooked on Falcons is a "Mike thing". Guess I don't care what you call me as long as its not LATE for a light, a meal or a paycheck.....Mike

Its bound to happen when you leave an OLD hotroder unsupervised around a stash of spray paint. What started as simply throwing a little primer over the bare spots around the modified wheelwells on the quarters ended up being the worlds cheapest custom paint job ($ 11). Earl Scheib would have been proud. Now I have a good idea what it will look like in gloss black & old school "big flake" silver metalflake with lipstick red pinstriping.
