1952-59 Ford Wanted: 53-54 passengers side window

So I finally got my car on the road again and I stopped at a Buddy's to pick up a free TV and we put it on the p***engers side seat,I was on the drivers side scooting it over more and before I could say anything he shut the door,and broke my window!!! Argh,well he's offering to pay to replace it I just need to find one,so I need one that will fit,not sure what all years will fit but here in Wisconsin I'm gonna need one quick lol so any information on where I could find one or if someone has one I would really appreciate it. Flat gl***, go to any auto gl*** shop.

 

Are the sides factory tinted? Or just the windshield n rear window gl***?

 

I think the gl*** shop would know that. Try to find one that deals with older cars.

 

sounds like you have a two door by the way you explained what happened???I know i have some for a fordor but that wont fit a two door,but if you do have a fordor pm me and ill see if i can find the gl*** in storage..

 

Heck you can even get that off Ebay as well ! Flat gl*** is very easy to get and is pretty cheap too .

I called gl*** shops in the area and around 80$ bucks lol way outta my price range. I know there's like 4 old car junkyards in my area and I called one n he said he has a couple early 50's Fords but he's not sure if any of the gl*** is good,I came find the phone numbers for the other ones so roadtrip on Saturday,was just hoping someone on here might have one,if not I guess plexi gl*** will have to do. What years will fit? It's a 53 body. Oh and will a Mercury window fit? Or any other make or model besides the customline window? Thanks

 

52-53-54 ford or Mercury should work, is it a 2 door or 4 door, post or hard top or Sunliner? Gerry
