To be honest it is very hard to find a good original anymore . I am not saying they aren't around but getting few and hard to find .
Unless you are rebuilding you car to original condition for show, chalupa55 can make you a really nice one for less than you think . Look at the one he has made for a few in his pictures and then decide .

saw chalupas hand made one when he finished it, very clean and strong as hell.

 

Goodell Fabrications also make repos. 918-636-7071. If you can afford it, a repo is the way to go. A used one may look good, but could be as bad as the one you have.

I messaged Chalupa back in Jan about the crossmember but never heard anything back from him.

 

Just looked. Last login for Chalupa on here was Jan 20, 2011. His last login on Ford Barn was October 5, 2010.

 

i know that he recently just moved to colorado from California and that he's been having computer problems, that could be why is isnt really actuve. Hes a real cool guy, im sure he'll reply sooner or later.

Sorry I've been gone from the site for a bit. I don't have internet at my casa currently and have been very busy at work, so I haven't been able to check in lately. I can still build the crossmembers. I will be calling the local steel yard to get prices on the material needed. I ususally charge $150 plus shipping for the crossmembers, but need to get current prices for materials then I will adjust the price as needed. I require a down payment for materials (cashiers check or money order) which will be subtracted from the final cost not including shipping. Final payment will be required (cashiers check or money order)prior to shipping and a tracking # will be given.

 

I email Chalupa and he will be making the cross member for sale again . I see he has made a post already for to let you know . I have seen the one he makes and they are way better than any you will find anyplace PLUS he is giving everyone a GREAT price on one .
