I'm looking for 3 D-Shape base Air cleaners to fit 2300 series Holleys on my ford small block tri-power. Only ones I can find are the Obrien Truckers and they are $175 ea any help appreciated thanks
I found some finned to air cleaners for 2300 base tri-power carbs on eBay some years back. They were quite nice with K&N style filters. No idea who the mfg was though. I looked using finned air cleaners as the search and did not find any You might try Google with a simlar search and look at any pictures that some up. Charlie
Cal Custom or similar made some chromed air cleaners for the d based carburetors. Only saw the one set that I had about 20 years ago. Not much else available in a single unit for each carb. Honestly don't know of anyone else selling them (other than my dealers). And if you find someone make sure they are for Fords because one for Chevys, Mopars and Barry Grants are different - I know because I manufacture and sell air cleaners for all four applications (as well as TPI, 1 BBL and 2 BBL applications). Thanks Dennis, I'll be calling you in the next day or so to order a set for the ford tri-power in the truck. Plan on driving the truck even more and think they will flow air better than my custom a/c.
