Like the subject says, I'm looking for a SBC guru in or near Lincoln, NE. I have a 66 Chevy with its original, low-mile 327 in it. Trying to diagnose a slight miss that nobody seems to be able to resolve via the usual diagnostics (points, plugs, wires, distributor, etc.). Need to dig deeper into this with a more experienced technician. Anyone know of somebody good in eastern Nebraska? Thanks!
Yep, I'm thinking I need to look deeper into the engine. One issue is the paint on the engine is original factory paint and I don't want to mess that up!
do a compression test, and maybe pull the valve covers and see if any of the rockers are not moving as much as the others. Or leave it alone and accept the fact that 50 year old, original engines sometimes don't run perfectly!
