Hey Guys: Thinking about getting a Wardlow Fender Bra for my '37 Ford Coupe (all steel) for some of those long trips planned for this year. Any body have one? If so, what's better one with the snaps or stay with velcro? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

Buy a roll of the clear 3M Clear Bra material off ebay. Make a paper template of your desired shape. Cut material matching template. Ultra clean and wax/grease remove paint of area to be covered. Get a spray bottle of water and small amount of soap. Lay on clear bra over wet surface. Squeegy it off, slowly working out bubbles. Let it sit in the sun. (dries/shrinks any wripples or small air bubbles) Check for bubbles of any sort Use needle to pop bubbles, if any. Then wet with water/soap mixture and squeegy out the bubble. Not traditional, but much better looking than a material based bra. Durable too. I tried it on my OT car using the same materials and method used by the guy that charged my buddy $890 on his OT car... The method is no different than window tint. You just have to take your time. Looks great too and peels right off w/o damage to paint.
Also don't forget to wear the tee shirt with the digital pic of your car on the front thats cool also

watch out if you get water under that bra. If water is trapped it can do more damage than the bugs and rocks.
Yes, my son and I try to make it up ever-other Saturday. I do not have a completed car, yet. I will look for you Saturday if we head up. Just look for a guy with a kid that is jumping up and down on your hood. JK I used this product after I found out that both my Bavarian, FOX, and the Lotus dealer in Royal Oak use it as a dealer option through their dealerships. Not just water, but even a small amount of dirt/dust will scratch the paint since it'll be trapped and vibrating for a long period of time. Also the bra itself tends to leave marks on the paint. I don't blame you for not wanting your paint to get chipped up, but I honestly think the bras do more damage than they save. Also, they look ****y while you're on the road.
Flame suit on. I've got one, mine only has 2 snaps, and they are under the front fender lips on the sides , the rest of it has bendable fingers I guess you can call them, and they go under the fenders on the bottom I have gotten dents in the fenders from stuff hitting them though, and you definitly don't want to keep it on in the rain.
A car with a bra has no balls! I too agree that bras do more damage then good, I've seen paint worn thru to the primer by having a little loosness witha little dust behind.
