I think its good we are all reminded that bad things happen sometimes. For those who wonder about how many dollars they sell for the A coupe below was $9500 and the 32 pickup was $1,250. The pickup was burned hard. The 32 fordor was a customer who kept his wrecked car and had me do a little mending. Anything is repairable if replacement parts can be found. Steve

Makes you wonder what happened. Some of those wrecks look like they got hit from above by a giant pipe. Yikes!

I imagine that most of the burned cars (the real crispy ones) were in garage/shop fires.

The AC Cobras dont bother me because they are all fake and you can buy the bodies but the Vette and T Bird just about made me sick. I just want to know the story about the T bucket......no I change my mind about that I dont need to know.

All of these photos kind of bring to mind a particular motto I subscribe to: "If I can't fix it, I'll fix it so that no one else can".

  8. That comes from actually driving them I'm afraid. A sad fact for sure.

    Man oh MAN!!!

What the HELL happened to that red '64 Galaxie?

  15. They also run cars through the auction for some donation outlets, so that explains some of the non-wrecked but not running cars you see.
Some of those can be had at a reasonable price. i used to buy parts cars from Copart, bid up to 3-400 bucks, pay 5-600 total to get it out the door.
    The fees suck.

That blue model A had a good hit..

On some of the bigger, heavier cars, you have to wonder how the other guy turned out..

Is that your car in your avatar?

I really hope nobody was in that yellow and white 56 when that accident happened. I doubt anyone could live through that.

How sad to see such great cars never to hit the roads again.

I sometimes think my car is magnetized. Driving the I-State its amazing how many times people wander into my lane barely missing me. Once years ago when bitching to friends about how bad some people drove a friend put it this way, " remember, some people are driving, other people are just going somewhere". If you think about that , its very true.

  23. My friend's 1912 Buick (that was just finished with a restoration) and my 1926 Chevrolet (nice untouched original) after the shop fire....

A moment of silence I think is due, to all the lost cars .
