A model AA that is, guess it used to be a motor home. Ive know of this vehicle for some time as its one of my coworkers and he stores it at my maintenance yard. Well he called me on the phone and told me he would never get around to it and that i should do somethin with it. I guess my banger powered 1928 RPU inspired him. I also got a stash of carbs and some other crap. Its got a B engine in it, not sure if its a car or truck tranny and bellhouseing. Not even really sure of my plans yet, maybe parts maybe a truck for around the house till i find a cab. what do you guys think?

It looks like a B block with an A head and distributor. Is that a diamond in the block by the governor cover?

Put it back togather, what would be kool.I do not think it is a B motor, unless it was changed. already has custom lic.indent.Headlites are sealed beam conversion. I wonder if it started out as a 2-door car

The motor is definitely a B motor, the license indent is actually a little window, i dont think it could of started as a car as it is an AA chassis. Sealed beam conversion! thats why they look wierd. I dont think ill ever make it back into a motor home, i just dont have the time, skill or desire to do so. and should a guy ever have more than one motorhome?

Appears to be a 28 model with the wire wheels. I would be interested in the hubcaps if it has any. The 28 big truck used the car transmission and car front end although the spring perches are different. The ball for the shocks sit up a little hire than the car. Looks like 28 29 firewall and cowl but it has a 31 radiator shell & radiator along with the headlights that have been converted to seal beam.

Did you get a title??? And yes that is a B block. If it has the big worm drive rear end in it you may get it up to 40 miles an hour.

The car trans only matters in that i may need one for another build. It has no hub caps, it is a 28-29 cowl, the radiator shell is 31 and is all hacked up. SO the headlights are 31, thats cool. It does have the worm drive rearend i think, the driveshaft goes into the diff at the top and i mean ontop of the rearend. Unfortunetly there is no title for this thing, but my old friend does have a model a title somewhere, ill have to wait and see if he finds it.

That body looks to me like a period correct motorhome. Have you seen what this sort of thing goes for restored?????? I'm afraid that it would be a big buck item if it WAS originally a 30's motorhome and WAS restored back to semi-original spec. Maybe someone with more time and $$ would give a good bit for it just to be able to restore it into a $100,000 motorhome. Just a thought.
