    Watching Niagara Falls this evening and spotted this police car. Looks like a '49 with a Mercury grill. Were these produced like this in Canada or something? Screenshot_20200520-202345_Gallery.jpg

    The Meteor was introduced in 1949 as a Canadian version of the Ford with a Mercury-like grille and other unique details. It was sold through Mercury-Lincoln-Meteor dealerships across Canada and proved to be very popular. A total of 23,027 Meteors were built for the 1949 model year.
