The wife and I spend a lot of our spare time hiking the local terrain and last weekend we stumbled across a little bone yard in the middle of the bush. It looks like people just parked them years ago and abandoned them.

I thought I'd share a few pics of what we found

I don't think so - second pic is same car as first pic and that firewall is NOT a 1932 Ford, I'm reasonably sure.

It looks like most of those were stripped and dumped years ago. The older ones appear to be from the era when the bodies of cars weren't worth anything as scrap and guy rolled them on their side and cut the frames and running gear out from under them to haul off for scrap and left the bodies. You used to find them all over out in the sage brush around here when I was a kid but they are all gone or in my neighbors stash now.

We also came across a Studebaker pickup, a 40 Ford 2 door and a 68 VW bug, but the battery*****ped out in my camera. We walked past an old drill site and found a 56 Belair with the roof laying 50 feet away and pumped full of bullet holes. I used to work at the local wrecker and there is a TON of nice old iron still sitting there. Makes ya wonder why people just didn't sell these cars to the wrecker instead of leaving them in the bush

By '32 standards, that sedan is fixable.

There's no land owner, these were dumped on crown land and are free for the pickin's. We've come across more than 20 abandoned cars and truck from the 30's to the 70's along old grown in roads, snow mobile trails and ski trails. You just have to wander off 50 feet on either side and you'll find cars or parts*****tered in the bush
