Nice Build!... using what you got. Looking forward to this.
    Keep up the good work.

Mine started from a cowl. I am running a 302 also.
The rest is hand made. I think my cowl is a 27?

  8. Man! That looks nice!
Looks like the bed is around 20 inches or so? I went 20 on mine, just enuff for the gas tank and a battery.

    My bed is 27 ".

  12. Seven inches more than mine. Perhaps I shoulda went a little longer. I judged by the length of the gl*** beds the T-Kit people sell.

  13. Interesting grill I acquired to go on The Ghost

  14. Another view of the Terraplane grill. I believe it will clean up and look good on the roadster.

  15. This grill has the most AWESOME ornament I think I have ever seen!
Will be cleaning the grill up this weekend and getting primer on it.

  16. Going to get the Terraplane headlamps this weekend. They should be a good match for the grill since they came off the same car.
Also picking up a '77 302 engine saturday.

  19. Got an old 302 to build.
    Project Ghost is moving along!

  20. Ditched the Model A front axle due to the kingpins being WELDED when it was under a trailer.
Using this '48 Ford Coupe front axle instead...at least it turns.

  21. I am in Alabama and my garage and house were HIT by an F3 Tornado last week!
MUCHO damage to the garage but THE GHOST survived with damage.
Have hauled her off to a friends shop until my garage is rebuilt.

    Holy cow..
    Is your family Ok?

Is that the driveway concrete or the floor from the garage? I got a feeling it is what is left of the garage. How much more damage to the nice OT car next to it?

You must be a gearhead....you didn't even mention the house

    Holy ****!!!
Stuff can be replaced. As long as you guys are ok, that's all that really matters.

  24. Yeah we were ok and in the storm shelter :) Yeah the HOUSE received 8 storm windows blown out and one storm door blown off, a hole in the living room wall courtesy of a tree and siding destroyed.
You guessed it! That slab of concrete is all that remains of my garage ;) The rest of it FLEW away! With a little help from the insurance company The Ghost will be back on track and the OT Car will be next on the list, it has a ruined hood and drivers fender and of course the dents in the roof and broken gl***. Had that car 22 years so can't s**** it.

  25. Ok I have been gone because we took a DIRECT hit from an F4 Tornado during the April 27th Outbreak. The Ghost AND my Mustang were hit hard and garage totally destroyed

A few months later have just now got the building rebuilt and The Ghost put back to pre Tornado condition

Hell of a year! But we are moving on! Next is to attach the front axle as planned before the disaster

That wasn't a late 29 tank, it was an early 30 A Pickup/AA truck tank. The new body wasn't available for awhile after the 30s changeover in cars.

  27. Have decided to mount the front axle without a spring. Every T-Bucket style roadster I have ridden in may as well not have a front spring anyway and I don't plan to drive on dirt roads. Shall see how it goes.
