Does any body know where i could find the color (washington blue) it looks like a flat low gloss primer or paint. I saw a nasty sedan with that same paint.
    thanks

  2. the Washington Blue that i'm familiar with is an early Ford color.it is a very dark blue and was glossy when Ford applied it to a car. maybe someone added a flattener to paint before spraying?

Thats my all time favorite color. My wife even goes nuts for it. I think it was first introduced by Ford on their 1931's Model A's but i may be wrong. You can get the color here.

My 36 is "Washington Blue"... or at least some variation of it. I have seen about a dozen different blues called Washington blue. It is an early ford color that should be readily available. You could then shoot some Flexed and Flat clear over it once you find the color you want if you are wanting a satin finish.

  6. Nissan Xterras from a few years ago has a non-metallic dark blue, they had a bunch of non-metallic colors that looked like they came out of the early 50's swatchbook that same year.
