I scored a real nice chrome Filcoolator beehive oil filter. Life is real good - I have been looking for one for the last couple of years for the right price. Finally scored the sweet deal and real nice original piece. :D

I scored a real nice Filcoolator chrome beehive oil filter for my car. This will look sweet and dress up the motor compartment. I am stoked because I have been looking foer one of these for a couple of years for the right price - got both. Santa is looking out for me.

  3. Pinstripping supplies, cranked about getting started with a real brush instead of the homemade version I've been making skid-marks with. Thanks Baby!

  6. 7 copies of Faith Granger's new DVD...........Deuce of Spades.
I gave 6 to my closest friends in our club and kept one for myself.
My wife gave me some new Craftsman gear style ratchet wrenches, and an electric choke kit for my Edelbrock carburetor on my model A.
She also surprised me with a perfectly patinaed hot rod shop sign for the new garage.
My son gave me a $100 gift card for Harbor Freight which I will put to full use on New Years Day at their new Amherst store.
It's a good family and a great Christmas!

All I got was a rock.
Actually I had my oldest son over for dinner tonight. He was supposed to be in San Diego with his mom and my youngest is in England with his GF. I thought I was going to have the first Christmas without my kids since they were born. It was the best gift, ever. To me Christmas = my family. I am stoked!
    Oh, and I got slippers

I got a garage door opener and time to work on the glass hood on my 64. Spent more than was allocated on the wife. She's worth it.

Had a wonderful Christmas with the family, got all the right things to keep my wife happy, she got me a new record player with MP3 hook-up, I've not had a working record player in sooo long. Borrowed some crates of amazing classic vinyl from my father in law (listening to Jeff Beck Group "Rough and Ready" LP right now, Mott the Hoople on deck).
Got gift certificates to use toward the Build(s), money towards a welder I'll get for the class I'll take in January.
My folks sent me a book, "How to Back Up a Trailer (and 101 Other Things Every Real guy Should know)", Mom sent me the new In N Out T-shirt, an annual tradition since we lived a block away from the Arcadia drive-through and would become a last minute gift.
Most of all, didn't worry about money, bills to come, deadlines, drama, just total merriment with my wife and her family, the biggest gift of this Christmas.
That said, getting the record player - living in a great record store area - was partic awesome. Merry Christmas, all!

I only bought gifts for my wife's grand kids. We agreed not to buy gifts for each other & instead donated money to Rhodesian Ridge back Rescue for a liver shunt operation for an ill rescue dog.
